Failure

I tried really hard… BUT I couldn’t do the water challenge more than 4 days. I’m a FAILURE. In my defense, I didn’t feel any different. I had a couple of friends that were doing this before me, and they wouldn’t shut up about how great they felt. I felt the same. Maybe because I do drink a nice amount at work already. I did decide to only drink pop or tea when I went out to eat. So, that means only water at home sadly. I think I have to give up McDonald’s sweet tea too. I had one the other day and it just tasted wrong. It’s probably for the better. Those bad boys are sooo not healthy for you.

Polar Vortex

Here in the great Midwest, we are having a Polar Vortex. Thankfully it’s over! So I finally went to the gym today… YAY! Shit, I was finally able to leave the house without my face hurting. I started drinking my 100 oz of water a couple days ago. I’ve been doing pretty well at that. Not really hitting the mark but close. I haven’t noticed anything about my body yet like others have mentioned. I’m just peeing more lol. Today was leg day at the gym, I know I’m going to be feeling it tomorrow. The workout plan my “trainer in the making” friend gave me KICKS my ass. I start off with 15 minutes on the treadmill to warm up then on to machines and squats. I weirdly love squats. I just really want that apple/peach/heart butt sooooo bad! But on the positive side, I got my face blaster from Ashley Black!! If you don’t know what or who that is, I highly recommend you check out her website here. I got to blast my butt, that sounds wrong lol, in the sauna without annoying people with the full size fasciablaster. I would have stayed longer but I got a text saying my furnace went out… FML!

Water is life…?

Ok, so most of us know that our bodies are made up of 70-75% water. If you didn’t, you’re welcome. A couple of my friends have been talking about the gallon of water a day challenge. I even have a trainer in the making friend tell me “Now, to fully understand what I am talking about, let me define enough. 100 oz of plain, nothing added to it, water is my benchmark for ‘enough.'”. I can drink about 60-80 oz in the summer no problem. I work in a warehouse where I sweat all day. BUT… the winter is my downfall. I don’t find water enjoyable to just drink for fun. Weirdos

I’m starting tomorrow with this water nonsense lol. I’m a heavy sweat tea and pop drinker. I think it will help tremendously with my muscle soreness I get from working out. I have a feeling I will be peeing forever and a day once this starts… I’ll keep you updated.
